Mpp program at American university-worth 50k in debt?

I just got admitted to the mpp program at American university but I will have to fund myself outside of financial aid. Is such a program worth 50k in debt?

Further, should I worry that it might not be that great of a program if it doesn't require the gre? I mainly want go there because of the location, considering I want to work in DC.

Did you get in anywhere else?
MPP at AU is a two year program no?
And is public policy the absolute only thing you want to do in life?

It’s ranked #14, however it’s tied with about 8 or 9 other schools at that rank. If you want to work in DC, however, it’s good for networking purposes as most of your professors will probably be actively working and teaching PT.

Haven’t gotten rejected anywhere, also applied to George Mason, Maryland, William and Mary, Arizona state, Monterey. So nor my only option but a good one. Mainly wondering if 50k in debt would even be worth thinking about.
