So I live and work in DC and I'm looking at going back to school part-time in the fall. I applied to the public policy programs Georgetown, George Washington, and American and so far I have been accepted at the first two (no word yet from American). I am interested in studying social policy, particularly education and urban issues. All three schools are ranked the same according to the U.S. News and World Report...so what distinguishes them? People say that each has a unique culture and perspective. I am vaguely familiar with the stereotypes, but can someone shed a little more light on this? I will be going to the accepted students' days in the next couple of weeks, but I figured I would try to get some "unofficial" opinions. Thank you!
