<p>Anyone applying to MS Analytics / Data Science for Spring / Fall intake? </p>

<p>If so, which schools are you applying?
What was your basis for selecting these schools?
What's your background?
Do you already satisfy pre-requisites? If not, what courses are you taking to satisfy pre-reqs?
Do you have any extra information regarding school rankings / programming rankings? I've searched a lot, but haven't found much.
What is your expectation for

Applying to North Carolina State, San Fransisco Uni, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Harvard</p>

<p>Reasoning for selecting schools:
10-12 month duration ; Under 50K fees</p>

<p>Background: </p>

<p>5+ years aero engineering experience; good with MATLAB; decent math skills; Giving GRE next month</p>

<p>Pre-requisites:</p>

<p>No, taking courses from Coursera on Linear Algebra, Statistics and R to satisfy admission requirements. </p>

<p>I am from Chicago and I am fortunate enough to have two great schools offering MS in Analytics programs near by. I applied to both Northwesterns and UChicagos programs and got into both. Both programs are about a year long. More if you need it. Both around 40k. I have an MBA, so i had the quant background they were looking for. I decided to go with UChicago since it is the better ranked school overall. I would recommend you look at these options.</p>
