MS Finance vs MBA

I have recently received a BS in Business Administration Finance Degree from the University of Arizona. I am looking to enter the fields of venture capital and business development somewhere in California. With my GMAT scores, which I have already taken numerous times, I may have troubles getting into schools such as UCLA or USC. I have been looking mainly into Pepperdine's Master's of Finance program and UC Davis, U San Diego, and UC Irvine's MBA programs. Would you guys consider these programs the right ones to apply to for the career fields I am trying to enter? Are there any other programs I should look into over the ones I have listed? (minos USC, UCLA, Berkeley, and Stanford)

You are not in a position to think about MBA right now. Concentrate on looking for a good job.Work for a few years, take a GMAT prep class and retake the test.

Yes, I have heard that and I have also heard that many programs have been moving towards accepting more people without experience now as well. But I think I will lean for a Master’s of Finance anyways. I have been hearing that U San Francisco and Pepperdine have really good programs. How would you guys rate those these programs?

What is your motive for getting a Masters degree without work experience?
To collect more credentials or to get a job?

You should ask the schools what the employment statistics are for people who complete their graduate program without any work experience.

Claremont Mckenna is worth a look, but low GMATs would be an issue there as well
