Dear All,

I have decided to start a career in real estate investments and will apply for jobs to banks and private equity funds focused on real estate investments after I obtain my masters degree in real estate.

I have been accepted to both real estate masters at NYU and CASS and am really unsure of which one to choose.

It seems to me that both schools have great reputations in real estate (NYU is ranked 7th and CASS 27th on best-masters.com)

I also have the impression that CASS is solely focused on finance while the masters at NYU also covers other aspects of real estate such as the developing process, etc (which are classes that I don't really need to take for my career interests). Therefore it would take me more time and more money to complete the program at NYU as there are more courses to take.

Now my main concern is that the NYU masters program is at the School of Continuing Studies and not at the Stern Business School, while Cass is a recognized business school.

Does anyone know about the stenghts of the NYU program and/or the one at CASS?

Thanks you very much in advance to anyone who could help me choose between the two masters.

All the best to everyone!
