Hi all,
I'm an American undergrad and was recently accepted at LSE and at American University for IR programs and waitlisted at SAIS and ESIA, and so now I'm trying to figure out what to do. My top choice is to go to LSE for my MSc in IR then apply for the Masters of International Studies at ESIA, since both are year-long programs and it seems valuable to have an international component to my studies as well as a year in London and in DC. My question is, though, how difficult is the IR program at LSE? I've done fairly well in school so far--I have a 3.6ish GPA, hoping that after this semester I'll have a 3.7 and graduate magna cum laude!--but I'm worried that the coursework and exams at LSE might be a bit out of my range, especially since it's a one year program. So I'm looking for any advice people can give me on how difficult LSE courses are, how much time they require, etc, to help me decide if I should take my chances @ LSE or go to American. And let's just assume for now that the costs don't really matter; at this point my decision is basically riding on whether or not it seems feasible that I could complete my program at LSE with decent grades while keeping my sanity.

Thanks!
