MSF Question: U. of Illinois vs. Boston College vs. Polytechnic Univeristy

Hi All,

I'm just starting to get responses back from different graduate programs. I got accepted to University of Illinois's MSF program recently and I have until March 2nd to make a deposit.

The two programs I'm awaiting responses from are Boston College (also MSF program) and Polytechnic University (MS in Financial Engineering).

For those familiar with Master in Finance programs and also (MFE) can you give me some insight regarding these programs? I'm interested to know how people would compare these programs/schools. Pretty much my dilemma is to choose whether or not I want to attend UIUC without knowing if I get accepted to the other 2 programs (unless I am notified before March 2nd).

Tuition at UIUC: $41,475 + Fees + Room/Board
Curriculum can be found below:
MSF - Master of Science in Finance

Tuition at Boston College: $38,000 + Fees + Room/Board
Curriculum can be found below:
Curriculum MSF - Boston College

Tuition at Polytech: $39,402 + Fees (I live in NYC so I can avoid Room/Board)
Curriculum can be found below:
Curriculum - Financial Engineering, MS | NYU-Poly

Also, I know this is not the proper forum to discuss financial aid (gonna have a thread in that subforum as well), but since MBA/MSF programs do not offer a substantial amount of aid for students like other grad programs, if anyone knows how most MSF students finance their studies, I'd appreciate input on that as well (any type of advice here). Other than any potential scholarships (which I'm looking into), and other merit-based aid, I'm almost certainly going to be have to take out more loans to finance this degree.

Thank You for all input. I appreciate it.
