<p>Social Work is a very broad field with endless opportunities! I am just curious to see for those of you pursuing MSW's, what are your future career plans?</p>
<p>As for me, I am <em>hoping</em> to get accepted to University of Michigan for my MSW, concentrating in Interpersonal Practice and Health OR Mental Health. For my field placement, I would like to do a Child Life internship so upon graduation I can qualify to be certified. Additionally, once completing my MSW/Child Life Certification, I want to be licensed to be an LCSW. I want this as an additional credential, because I want as much flexibility as possible with my degree. I would be happy being a child life specialist, a medical therapist, or even if I had to just start off as a medical social worker in a peds hospital, I would be happy doing that as well.</p>
