So MTV Made is at my school, and I'm tryna figure out what I should be made into. Any suggestions?

Wait?! Your going to be “MADE”? That’s so Cool! I’m not sure what you could be made into, though. They’ve pretty much done every thing I could think of.

^You can repeat…I’m sure they have, several times.

Depends on your interests.

Someone from my school (1-2 years before my freshman year) got to be “MADE”

Sorry I lied, they are coming and having an open casting call.

^Thats cool, I got to see the cheerleading squad that got made a few years back perform

^^umm everything??

^lol yea i knew you had to be lying…when MADE contestants are actually selected they ALREADY have a clear plan about what they want to do.

But i really dont know anything about you…so i dont know what you can be transformed into…what are your interests?

Haha, sorry, my sources weren’t very informative.

Umm its really everything. The interview is tomorrow, and right now I’m stuck between an ice skater, gymnast or model. The application says the goals have to be accomplished in a month though. I can’t decide!!!

How about an ice-skating modelling gymnast? That would be interesting :P

uhh don’t do model… gymnasts have to train from a really early age but it’s possible. You could try figure skating, my sister is a really hardcore figure skater and it’s a lot harder than it looks but I think it’s the most realistic out of the three.

^ or modeling while doing a floor routine on ice

Haha, I like that one. What’s wrong with model?

Idk, there’s just a bunch of agencies (some legit some scam) out there that if you really wanted to model you could just pay them. And there’s really not much to teach about it, so as the producer taking both these things into account it wouldn’t be worth his time to make you a model. the show would be both boring and short.

Pretty much every MADE includes some [I find it corny…] bit where the “student” gains self-confidence through some generic way: haircut and new clothes… making new friends…meeting girls/boys…

Sorry just ranting.

You have quite the opportunity.

I’d definitely go for it.

I watched the indian kid trying to become a QB, he was really lucky to get that opportunity (being a CCer it would also make for a good college essay lol). but he was alot like me when I was a freshman, people laughed at him cause he was small but you have to start somewhere. He lay down and quit way too much though…

They ALL do that. Especially on the weight loss / getting in shape shows.

Grr. Opportunity of a lifetime wasted on a girl who won’t walk stairs…

Hmm, I guess that makes sense, but what could I be Made into that would be interesting and make a good show?

not to be annoying, but google it for some ideas.

I googled “things to be made into mtv” and found some right away.

that might get you started in the right direction and then me and other people can help you narrow down your choices

^^^yeah, it makes for more content but it was just dissapointing, for someone who wanted to transform himself to be so incredibly unmotivated…

just think about something you’ve always wanted to do. It should probably involve a transformation process that is a makeover of sorts, which seems to be what they’re looking for.

MTV is extremely ■■■■■■■■…first Channel that I would boot off of tv.

16 and pregnant…yeah cool.

If MTV came to my school I would be embarrassed

Yeah, I know what you mean.

I guess producers don’t really have a choice, but they all follow a storyline so similar to me, it seems almost scripted.

–meet made coach–start to succeed–setback/cry/fall down/noone loves me–coach guides them to success–success.

maybe i’m being too picky, pretty much all forms of literature (movies, tv shows, books, etc) seem to follow that format LOL.

^I get what your saying, but that’s just what they show on tv. I mean how else are they supposed to fit a month long process into and hour long show and still hold the attention of average american teenager? Thats also the plote line of pretty much every Disney movie, and such.

^^ 16 and pregnant is stupid. And so is teen mom. But If You Really Knew Me is REALLY good.

along with ice skater or gymnast <– I don’t have to get really good, I just have to learn basics. and i still think i have a good, compelling reason for wanting to be a model, which is also something that would involve a makeover/confidence boost

ps. in the application you have to explain why you want to become made and how it would change your life
