<p>I decided to shorten this a little bit >_>
But yeah, here are the schools, please chance me!!</p>

<p>My gpa : 3.97 unweighted out of 4.0
5.7 weighted out of 6.0
I took AP Euro in 10th grade, received a 3 on the exam
Took AP Lang and Comp and AP US History this year, results tbd. I'm thinking a 4 or 5 on AP Lang and a 3 or 4 on APUSH (I bombed one of the essays, don't think I can get a 5 cause of it)
I'm taking AP Physics, AP Chem, AP Gov, and AP Lit next year.
I'm taking a college Mandarin Chinese class this summer which will go on my transcript.
I'm taking a dual-enrollment college class on World War Two, 3 hours every Thursday.
I am currently 7th out of 274 students, and I hope to move up for senior year.</p>

(I'm taking Math and maybe a few other subjects at the next testing)</p>

<p>EC:
Motif - 4 years, literary magazine which prints out a creative publication as well as hosts a coffeehouse at the holidays
Theatre - 3 years, puts on an annual musical
National Honor Society and National Honor Society of Secondary Schools - 3 years, volunteering at old folks home, collections for food and clothing, the volleyball marathon, movie night
National Spanish Honor Society - 3 years, puts on an international food festival and the intercambio language faire
National Art Honor Society - 3 years, makes a variety of pieces of artwork during the year for sale for charity as well as Arts Alive, a showcase of all artwork done during the year by artstudents for everyone along with entertainment etc
Students Helping International Peace - 2 years, raised 1700+ books for children in Africa, sent over 400 letters to soldiers in Iraq, raising food and clothing for the people in Appalachia, and preparing for an International food festival in which money will go to the Invisible Children Fund</p>

<p>Teacher Recommendations & GC recommendation: All very good.
Essays: Will probably be of an amazing quality; My AP Lang and Comp teacher will help me edit them.</p>

<p>Interview: I've had an interview at UoR and it went wonderfully. I think my interviewer and I really connected and we got to know a lot about eachother, as well as the school and my academic prowess. I think my interviews will definitely help my chances.</p>

<p>Ah. That’s why you’re considering Penn State a safety. Fair enough.</p>

<p>I guess it just depends what you’re looking for in a school. If that was a list compiled by me, I’d immediately knock off either Northwestern or U of Chicago because they’re both right there in (or close to) Chicago and are, more or less, comparable schools.</p>

<p>I know that UChi and Northwestern U are difficult to get into, but Chicago the city is the reason I’m looking into them especially. I want to go farther away from home, and I love Chicago ~</p>

<p>So I wouldn’t write them off because of location.</p>

<p>What do you think about the others?</p>

<p>You’ve got a good chance at Vassar if you’re male.</p>

<p>Don’t consider Penn State a complete safety. I’d say its more of a match. You might want to put a school like Temple, Clarion, or even Shippensburg as your true safety</p>

<p>Your grades are great, your tests are a little low for some of the top schools. Try reatking the ACT or SAT getting over 30 (31 or 32) or breaking 2100 can change a lot…</p>

<p>I’d say you have a good chance at pretty much all of the schools. Good GPA and class rank. But it seems your school isn’t the most competitive…</p>

<p>brown princeton northwestern and chicago seem very unlikely… =[ looking at SAT scores… try to raise them!</p>
