In for mechanical engineering! Not sure yet if I’m going or not
To all of you wondering what Muir is like, well I toured it this past weekend and I absolutely loved it. Their GE’s are the most laid back and lenient of all the colleges, so it is easy to minor in something. It is closest to the beach with just a ten minute walk. The freshman dorms are these two large buildings. In each of the buildings, every two floors is considered a “house”. The floors are set up in such a way that it’s easy to meet new people and get along with others, which is something I consider necessary if I’m living on campus. Muir also supposedly has the most student organizations and can allow for people to be involved and meet new people. As far as dining goes, I’ve heard that their dining hall is called Pines, and is arguably the best one on campus. They also have a coffee shop with sofas to relax or tables to study, and even a nice piano if anyone ever wants to volunteer to play. Main Gym is also a small walk from the dorms so it can be easy to stay in shape. Lastly, Muir is the college that’s closest to everything, so it can be easier to walk from place to place and to classes from our dorms. I got accepted as a Structural Engineer and I absolutely can’t wait for my life at Muir to begin.
Hey everyone! I got in as a theatre major. I fell in love with Muir at triton day and I’m really excited for next year!
Got into Muir too! Ecology, behavior, and evolution major. I hope I get a good roommate.
