Ok, so I have taken two SATS and I assume I will do well on those. I am applying to certain schools (Harvard/Princeton) that require 3. So I will take the math Sat II in October and recently someone recommended that I make a separate college board account for it so if I do well I will send it and if I don't I won't. Since you send accounts, which contain all of your information this will be a convenient way to protect myself from a bad score and if I do well I will just send both my accounts this one with the math and the others with my SAT scores and other SAT IIS.

Is this a good idea and is this even allowed? The person who recommended it makes it sound like a fantastic strategy.

It's not allowed and it's not a good idea. Information in separate College Board registrations gets matched by the name, birthdate, and whatever else being in common.

The system will not allow multiple accounts with the same user information. And if you use different user information to create the account, and decide to send both, colleges will have difficulty matching your results to your application.

I'm not an expert as to what Collegeboard allows - but I think it's a lose/lose situation because:

If they allow it and I noticed that as an admissions officer reading your file - I would think that this is a kid who has unethical principals - bordering on cheating.

If they don't allow it - and you get caught... well...

I have known students who have taken the SAT II in October after their early application and scores have been submitted - so the ED college would only see the earlier testing dates... if the October test was good... then they submitted it. That doesn't help you with Princeton or Harvard though ;)

I remember from a previous post that you go to to a competitive boarding school. They usually have great college advising and have strong moral principals - I would run this by your counselor if this is something that you insist upon doing...

What is it that colleges look at when you send your collegeboard account?? Do they see like your stats for the SAT question of the day and practice tests you've taken etc.?

Trust me it won't work. I created one account in the 9th grade when I took the PSAT. I then created another account this year and tried to access my score reports and such from CB and was told that I already had information on another account and should access it through that. Sadly I couldn't remember my username or password from the old account and had to call CB, reset my account blah blah blah. Don't do it.
