Multiple Minors?

Had a few questions:

When is the "normal" time to take the MCAT? I was thinking I could actually take it an year earlier -- end of sophomore year (summer). I would have all my classes finished up. Would this be advantageous? When is the normal time to apply to med school? Should I consider applying my junior year?

The reason I'm asking all this is because I came in with ~ 85 credits from AP and Running start credits (community college).

I was thinking of minoring in music, but I was wondering if I would have time to minor in ANOTHER area related to English. I am thinking about majoring in neurobiology.

Can I fit this all in?

Thanks!

D. originally had Music Minor and Neuro Minor. Graduated with Music Minor, had to drop Neuro being only 2 classe short of completion. There is lots of Neuro at Med. School, so she decided that Music Minor would be more valuable for her. Do not know much about English aside from the fact that it would require lots of reading of novels and D. was not interested in this at all. She took only one semester of college English and stated that it was waste of time for her and at the same time very time consuming. She is not aabig reder at all, but you might be. So, only you can evaluate if English minor is good for you personally.
