music cd - send?

<p>in my app i wrote about my awards and stuff (young artist guild, piano pedagogy conference, liszt competition), so that part should at least separate me from some people. however, i recorded myself a couple weeks ago and from the looks of it it doesn't really represent my playing at all. sure, it is technically sound and stuff, but the dynamics in the cd are horrible. they all sound mp to mf. should i still send this in? will this boost my chances to get in?</p>

<p>btw, anybody know about the peabody application? i started my johns hopkins app 2 weeks ago and i started doing the part I app (i know, silly) when the box for the double degree for music and science said i need to fill out a peabody app. i looked online a couple days ago and it said the december app was over but theres a april app. do i sign up for this?</p>

<p>To apply for the dual degree program, you had to submit your Peabody application by Dec. 1. The dynamics on my CD are slightly leveled out, but it's nothing that bad. Send it in if you think the quality of the CD will help you get in. Remember, only adcoms listen to them.</p>
