Music supplement: under 10 minutes?

<p>Hi everyone! </p>

<p>Stanford's music supplement wants the recording to be under 10 minutes... mine is 11 minutes. Will I get disqualified, or will they not care, or just fastforward/stop as they wish?</p>

<p>Do yourself a favor and follow the directions. If they say 10 minutes, they mean 10 minutes. Good luck.</p>

<p>How hard is it to edit it to make it under 10?
As I guessed, not hard at all. If you cant, get a friend to do it.

<p>Thank you. Taking out the small number of repeats still makes it over 10 minutes. I should have been more clear about my problem! But yes, I can see how the directions may seem really easy to follow, so I’ll take out a passage or two.</p>

<p>Don’t cut a passage, just leave it at 11 minutes. Nobody is going to time your recording. They’re suggesting 10 minutes so they don’t have to fast-forward through a 20-minute recording.</p>

<p>Has anyone been through the process who knows this for sure? My son’s Youtube link is about 11 minutes long, as well.</p>
