I’m curious whether anyone has heard about deferrals being accepted for 2015. I’ve heard two wildly differing accounts about how many students get accepted from the waiting list. A young guy I know claims that half of last year’s class came off the waiting list. On the other hand, someone on CC made the claim that NO ONE from last year’s waiting list was invited. The former claim actually seems more likely, since PSU is jockeying for the same top students with CMU and UMICH, and so probably will end up losing a couple of their top picks to this schools. Anyone have insights on the matter?
