<p>Hi mg -- I guess you must be from the midwest and are trying to get as far away from home as possible (LOL)!! I understand the feeling -- I'm originally from Michigan and ended up in New York because it's difficult to survive as an actor in the midwest. However, if that's the case, don't discount the schools in the middle of the country -- there are many good ones. I went to University of Michigan before I moved to the East Coast.</p>
<p>There's so much information already on this site that it would be pointless for any of us to repeat it. Spend a few days exploring it -- it may be overwhelming at first, but well worth the time invested. Good luck!</p>
