So i posted what i thought would be my schedule but its not right and i don’t know how to delete/edit posts so here’s my new schedule
IB MYP Honors english 10
H chemistry
AP physics 1
Ap Calc AB
Ap Gov
H orchestra
H french 4
1 semester of each gym and health
Does anyone have a similar schedule or has had a similar schedule?
Calc as a sophomore? geez. French 4 as a sophomore? geez.
I had a somewhat similar schedule this year. Honors Algebra 2, Intro to Stats, Honors English 10, Honors Biology, APUSH, Choir, health (online), Spanish 2
Algebra 2 I got an A- and an A in
Stats I’m going to get an A-
English I will most likely get an A this semester, got an A last semester
Biology I had A- and B+
APUSH I only got a B- in
Spanish 2 I got A’s in both semesters
I doubled up on algebra 2 and geometry this year (freshman) with absolutely no problems and I’m taking precalc through the John’s Hopkins cty program this summer so I’m hoping it won’t be too hard. Also French 4 is pretty standard for sophomores at my school? Most of the middle schools do up to language 2 before high school
your schedule is similar to mine but i took german 2 not french 4 and not calc ab but calc bc, these classes are alright, i didnt have that much homework, except for physics 1. i think its alright, a bit harder b/c of french i guess, but i think you’ll do alright
@maxim2001 weren’t you taking 2 year algebra 2 junior year.
@Bobbybob444555 my school doesn’t offer multivariable
@maxim2001 “but I took German 2 not french 4 and not calc ab but calc bc”. In another thread you stated you were taking algebra 2.
@Bobbybob444555 yeah junior year, so next year
@maxim2001 so you’re not taking calc bc
@Bobbybob444555 it my sophomore year right now so next year i’ll take algebra 2 in my junior year. you should actually try to understand the stuff you read
@maxim2001
You planning on doing any CBE or summer school to get ahead on math?
@Going4IB
That is a pretty rigorous sophomore schedule.
@maxim2001 “your schedule is similar to mine but I took German 2 not french 4 and not calc an but calc bc”
I am understanding the stuff I’m reading. You clearly said in another thread you’re taking algebra 2 next year. “These classes are alright, I didn’t have that much homework”.Uhm, you never took calc bc. You’re taking algebra 2 next year.
@Bobbybob444555 you see my little friend, some schools don’t offer any classes past calc bc. so after im done with calc bc this year i have no other class to take, so i’m taking algebra 2
@maxim2001 why in the world would you take algebra 2 after calc bc? Either don’t take math or do something online or at a CC, because that is an incredibly stupid waste of time.
@snowfairy137 i wouldn’t take it if it wasnt required. in my county students must take math and english every year of high school.
@maxim2001 not a huge fan of @Bobbybob444555 but he does have a point here. Something’s fishy.
Last I checked, Calc BC was AP. As is AP Physics 1 and AP Gov. And no school in the country would have you take Algebra 2 (2 years at that) after BC. You’d take AP Stats or AP Computer Science or something else for a math.
@snowfairy137 i let my brother use my account sometimes. as to the math, in my county AP CS isn’t considered a math course and i already took stat exam, so i dont want to repeat it again
If he makes his own account it’ll be less confusing and also no longer breaking the terms and conditions of the site. I’d make that happen if you can.
To help out the OP:
My sophomore schedule was
Honors English 10 (online)
Honors Bio
Honors Spanish 2
AP Calc BC
AP Computer Science
AP Photography (Studio Art 2D)
Advanced Orchestra
Engineering 2 (Drafting and Design)
PE (online)
So different classes, but similar types of classes. I got a 4.0 but that’s not unusual for me. If you did well in the hardest classes possible freshman year, you’ll probably be fine.
@maxium2001 I’m not very inclined to believe you since they’re a lot of red flags but ok.
