Applying to Georgetown SFS/Johns Hopkins/Tufts/Cornell/UGA/Georgia Tech

well since GU doesn't look at the writing SAT score, I'd say that works in your favor. But can I just ask why in the world didn't you take a Korean SAT II??? haha I got into SFS too with fluency in Chinese & English, and 4 years of Spanish...but iono I'd say the language thing could also work in the favor since you wont that korean writing award. I hope you stressed your fluency more. Since GU seems to be placing more emphasis on Rank and GPA, yours are going to extremely spectacular in comparison to everyone else.

So I think if your essays and recs are AMAZING, you'd have a really good shot. Maybe you didn't list but specific leadership positions and community service would have prob also helped ya =] Good luck. Guessing GU is your top choice?

IMO---you have obviously worked hard in hs, and you have several talents and interests. GU is a great school, and you have earned the right to "ask". There are so many variables in what admis. is looking for-Keep your fingers crossed and Good Luck!

More help, please I want to know so badddddddddd
it's so hard to wait for more than four months

A lot of it depends on luck and how you reach out to the admissions officers. You gotta portray yourself in a postive light and give them a great idea of who you are. Do that through your essays, interview and everything else.

Great numbers on a piece of paper does not mean automatic acceptance. They look for a personality. And luck is a huge factor. My stats were not super high, I just gave them a good image of myself and that was enough for me to get in.

Best of Luck
