I am an Indian. Let’s start with that. My SAT score is a 1490/1600. My ACT is a 33. Both are the same if you superscore. I am going to be a senior. My unweighted GPA is 3.78, my weighted is 4.76. By the end of senior year I will have taken 11 AP Courses, by the end of junior year I had taken 8. I have taken Ap psychology, human geography, calculus, macroeconomics, us history, language and composition, and environmental science. I got a 5 on the calculus exam and the language and composition exam. 4s on everything else except human geography. That was a 3. My extracurriculars: Marching Band for 3 years, Volunteering at hospital for over 100 hours, work at a tutoring center all 4 years of high school, member of the national honor society, an AP scholar with distinction, volunteered at a donation center for about 50 hours, a second degree black belt in karate, have been accepted into the All District Band every year, hopefully this senior year. Will bbe participating in the All State Orchestra as well. I play trombone. ANd yeah that is it. Can you let me know what kind of chance I have f getting into Georgia Tech? Thanks!
Are you OOS or in-state? Male or Female? What do you plan on majoring in? And have you done any extracurriculars related to your major? What classes are you taking this year? These things may matter in your chances!
Probably late to the party, but I think you have EXCELLENT chances. That’s a really good resume and I have a bunch of friends who were accepted last year with half of the amount of things you’ve done! Make sure you have other options planned out just in case, but I personally believe that you’ll stand a really great chance of being a GT Yellow Jacket.
OOS, Male. I volunteer in a hospital, plan on a Pre-Med track. Taking AP Lit, AP Stat, AP Bio, Band, Spanish 3, Principles of Bio-Medical Sciences, and Anatomy and Physiology. The last two, and AP Bio are all extra Lab courses.
