All right, here it goes. I applied to Middlebury ED because I absolutely love the school, the people, everything. I declared possible majors in journalism, English, and theater. I'm half-Venezuelan, have taken four years of Spanish, and, well, I'll list my SATs and extra-curriculars:

SATs
Reading: 800
Writing: 760
Math: 650 (Yeah, not my strong point.)

Extra-curriculars:
I've written two one-act plays and had them produced and shown at a local theater. I've done, for two years, a sort of internship as a writer at the theater. I edit my school newspaper and literary magazine and am a frequent contributor. I'm involved in chorus. I'm a varsity member on Quiz Bowl (haha) and head my local Peacejam Chapter. I've done the whole People to People Student Ambassador thing. I'm on National Honor Society.
Most specifically I'm a creative writer. The whole playwright thing is something I'm really interested in; I've had two original plays produced at 17, too, which isn't a claim a lot of students can make.

School-wise, I've taken all the AP history and English courses available. Because I switched schools between freshman and sophomore year, and I attend a very small school, a lab science couldn't fit into my schedule because I had other course requirements that conflicted with times (I've only taken Earth Science and Bio, and other non-lab sciences such as DNA and Genetics). Also, my class rank isn't extremely high since grade weighting at my school is weird; in fact, most AP kids are ranked below the students who take a bunch of electives. I have a 95 GPA but am not in the top ten percent.

What are my chances at Middlebury?
