My chances?

I am really sorry that this is really long, so I appreciate anyone who reads through it and offer me advice.

I am going to be a Senior in September.

GPA: 3.4 Unweighted 3.6 Weighted (Will probably rise)

APs: Biology

Honours: 7/8 French, US History

SATs & SATIIs: Haven't taken them but hoping to get 2000+ and 650+ on Lit, 700+ on Chem, and 750+ on Chinese.

Awards: ROP Student of the Month, Kiwanis Music Festival (First Place for 2 Years)

Activities: Concert Band 2002-2004, Jazz Band, 2002-2003. Drama 2002-2003, Prom Committee 2005, Jazz Vocals Ensemble.

Clubs: Leo Club, Key Club, Chinese Club, Translating Club

Employment: Wendy's 2003, Bank of America (Unpaid Internship) 2004, University of Southern California - Pathology (Unpaid Internship) 2005

Volunteering: AIDS Walk, Relay for Life, Convalescent Hospital, Midnight Mission (Homeless Shelter), I also walk an unable elderly lady regularly and help out with the school a lot with Key Club.

I am looking for a mid-sized school that is located in the Northwest, Midwest or in the Eastcoast. I know I screwed up majorly with my GPA, and I regret so much for screwing up during my Jr. year. But it's over and I just have to deal with it. :(

I have absolutely no idea of what I want to major in. I thought about Pre-Med, but I dislike school, so 16 years of schooling just doesn't sound like something I can commit myself to. I've also thought about Interior Design/Commercial Art, but I don't have much faith in myself.

I am also a Canadian student living in California, which makes me an International Student. But my mom works at USC and I can goto any participating colleges in the Tuition-Exchange for free if they accept me. You can take a look at the list at http://www.tuitionexchange.org/partinst.cfm.

I don't mind if the school has no prestige. I just want to receive good education, although prestigious school would make my mom really proud (she has sacraficed a lot for me). She really wants me to goto USC, but I don't think I have that much of a chance really. Do you guys think a really good first semester Senior year report card will be of much use to my college application?

I know that was really long, so I will really appreciate it if anyone can help me out.

Please, someone reply!

lol, you walk a lady, just like i walk my dog. haha. anyway, i'm from nj and don't know much about the UC's, but in terms of recommending colleges for you... what type of college are you looking for? large or small? just the west coast, or east coast too? what type of student body? give us a bit more info, then we can help you find some good schools.

lol

i want to goto a small or mid-sized school. i don't really care where it's located as long as it's not in the south or the west coast (california, texas, arizona, etc.) i want the student body to have a good balance of academic and social lives. it doesn't have to be diverse, i'll make the diversity lol. the prestige is also not that important. i hate the heat, and i like the rain. the people should be open-minded too, i don't want anyone there to be like "omg you smoke weed?" and then sprays you with pepper spray or whatever.

but yeah...i really want to learn. so i think a good education is a must.

:) hopefully that offered you some insight. please excuse the bad grammar and spellings.

hmmmmm (thinking)
