Hey ppl, I just discover that my application stt page just disappeared. Do you guys have the same problem, too?

My application status page is still there as it has been for the last month or so. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Whenever I try to log in, this message comes up.

The Admissions Committee is now completing its review of applications for Colby's Class of 2011 and will contact you in the event that additional information is neccessary.

To check your application status, go to https://www.colby.edu/admissions_cs/.../appstatus.cfm.

@artsavedmahlife: The same problem happens to me
@nidachti: when I click on your link, it says file not found

What's wrong?

artsavesmylife: maybe we're rejected, nidachti is in

It works... I tweaked it a bit, and I actually see my application status.

Heres the full address:
https://www.colby.edu/admissions_cs/here/appstatus.cfm

For some reason the applytocolby part doesn't come out correctly... that's the right link, but instead of "here", put down applytocolby. You should see your application status then.

Why don't y'all try this link. I'm pretty sure it will still work. https://www.colby.edu/ColbyMaster/login/

@artsavesmylife: I tried your link, it says: File not found.
@nidachti: When I log in by using your link, the website says Error 403: Forbidden

What the heck?

same thing is happening to me...I can't get in either...

Whenever I post the site on CC, it doesn't come out right. So cut and paste the site below, and it should work. Don't click on it.

A friend got a login from Colby after applying as a transfer. Later, someone at Colby said that he should not have received a login as a transfer. Using the URL from the prior post, the login works but says that his info is very incomplete (it should not be).

Should he disregard the info online and just await letters from Colby concerning his app?

At this point, there's really no amount of any new information that will affect a student's candidacy-- we're in a whirlwind of proofing letters, stuffing envelopes and triple-checking lists to make sure that we can get all the letters out tomorrow afternoon as planned. It's probably the toughest thing to ask of our applicants now, but please bear with us and be patient as we finish up our work and make preparations for the mailing of roughly 4,500 decisions.

Also, since the transfer application requires different materials than the standard Common Application for high school seniors, the fields on our "Check Your Status" website won't correspond to what we need (or what we have received). Even though some transfer students were automatically (and mistakenly) sent usernames & passwords, they should not attempt to access that page--either error messages will result, or inaccurate information will be perceived if the page actually loads. Once we get these regular decision letters out, we'll turn our attention to the transfer candidates, and any information that we discover missing (or if any additional information is required), we will contact the applicant.

Again, please bear with us as we all approach this stressful (but exciting!) time-- and best of luck to you all!

Thanks for this very thorough and helpful reply.

help me!! I have my log in information but every time i enter it....it says "invalid." i know it was not a typo b/c i did it, like, 20 times already. I also just enabled cookies for colby.edu, so I can't figure out why it won't log me in. thanks.
