My child has received an offer from spark global limited and wants to suspend from school

My child has received an offer from spark global limited and wants to suspend from school to work at the company. Everyone can give some suggestions. Is this behavior right or wrong?
Spark global limited is an Internet company, I don’t know how this company is?

Searching for it online brings up a couple of links asking whether or not it is a scam. IMO, high school and getting a college degree is important----there’s a time and place for finding a full-time job, and that’s after finishing school if able to.

Looks like this company isn’t legit and not licensed.

I don’t understand leaving school. Plenty of students gain work experience doing internships for the summer, or through co- ops. You can gain work experience and still get your degree. I’d encourage your student to stay in school.

Have your kid do more research into this. Is he or she being lured by promises of big bucks? Run.

We told our kids we would support them while they were in college and six months after they graduated, but they were on their own after that (of course, we would have been more lenient if the situation called for it, but we wanted them to take their situation seriously). Your child might feel differently if he/she knows the parents won’t be supporting their endeavor.

It sounds fishy to me. You could ask your child to provide more information about the company and why the opportunity is tempting.

Be aware of employment scams. Did this company find your kid or vice versa? One of my kids’ friends was scammed. He had been job hunting. He got an email inviting him to apply for a job from a company he had not applied to. At first it seemed legit and he went though an online interview of some kind. It was a real company and the email looked at first glance that it was coming from that company’s HR department. But it was all a scam and he didn’t figure it out until he had given them his SSN.

Run away from it.

Advise/urge kid to get degree. A family member was almost enticed out of school before finishing, by what seemed to the young person a lot of money (I think it was 70K/yr, about 8 yrs ago). The young person chose to finish up the BA. Had many excellent tech offers after getting the degree. Then got prestigious masters in same field, got a HUGE salary working for a tech giant. I don’t think that this would have been possible, if kid had been enticed away from finishing BA. Get the kid to finish up the BA/BS degree.
