My dream Columbia University

haha yeah your definitely not getting in. I can name a 10 kids in my nieghborhood who have done the same stuff as you.

wow really? you usually find cheerleaders who have done marching band and who do well in school? I don’t mean to say that the stereotype of cheerleaders being stupid is completely accurate, but considering the fact that the majority of cheerleaders are, why am I not a stand-out? Also, considering my involvement in the school and my participation on an ambulance squad and potentially even getting an EMT certification this summer before my senior year, why do I still not have a fighting chance in your opinion? what more should I do?

how are you weighting you GPA, because something looks a bit off, unless you have taken all AP courses

I would actually disagree with briannabanana on this one…
Smartypants4129, I think you have just a good of a chance as anyone out there because the admission process is more than just GPA and SAT’s. There are also other factors such as ethnicity, location, legacy, and first generation college. Your EC’s are looking pretty good (I have very similar EC’s and got in, so don’t worry about it.) Just make sure to write an amazing essay that sets you apart from other applicants. Best of Luck!
