<p>I had a kinda bad GPA.. (but a great class rank) but anyways - I sent in my CV and Resume, which had a list of all the stuff I had done.. </p>

well i am an eagle scout and vice pres of two different clubs and all kinds of other stupid ****; I did end up with a merit scholarship, and i am rather good standardized test taker, and I pretty much only take AP's.</p>
<p>I think rice looks for very well rounded students. I had a really great interview (talked about everything from chess to parties), and my essays were really geared towards varied life experiences. One was about hiking in new mexico for weeks, and the other was about how I come from a really diverse group of people (german jewish basque peruvian).</p>
