I don't see why not.. I mean grades are a big component of the admissions process but they tell nothing more than how well you were able to do at YOUR own very specific high school and has no real grounds for comparison to other applicants since each high school's cirriculum and difficulty are soooo subjective. In other words, high school grades at most show how hard you tried and of course it can be argued that they don't even do that much. This is where a standardized type of test comes in, and why controversial in some cases, absolutely necessary to the admissions process. By the way your scores there are right on part with BU. Maybe care to explain the grades in the application but its pretty obvious you weren't just lazy, but probably bored especially considering the fact that you had no opportunity to take more fast paced classes to keep you interested. I was hella bored in high school so I wouldn't blame you. Good luck.

Thanks DJ, I forgot to say that I am applying for engineering.

Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

another bump!!!!!!

Bump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would definitely try to get your test scores up, if you have time. I hear engineering is fairly competitive (although I'm vague on that, I could be wrong). I was originally wait-listed and had a slightly higher GPA, as well as excellent test scores, etc. However, you have strong e.c.'s and being a minority may work in your favor. Overall, just continue a strong upward trend with your GPA, try to raise your test scores, and you have a good shot!
