My Major..... Job outlook?

Hello all, I am a Chemistry-Business major. I love chemistry but I do know want to be stuck in a lab all of my life, so I would like to work in the Business end of it, if my plan doesn't work out. Not to be confused, This is not a double major. It is a B.S. Chemistry-Business major.

I have a 3.2 GPA and it will most likely rise, and my goal is to go to Pharmacy school AFTER I get a BS. I think my Degree will help me get a pharmacy school spot.

However, If I decide that I do not like the idea (After 4 years) of going back to school for 4 more for pharmacy school, I can apply to a program at my current school that Will allow me to obtain a B.S. in Chemistry and an MBA. (If you apply, you stay one more year and thats when the Degree is a double degree) so that is 5 years. Not bad.

My other notion is, what if I decide I want just a Bachelors. What are my job outlooks with this degree? I feel like I would be at a disadvantage at any job unless it is pharmaceutical sales.

Finally, My last option is after this year to switch my major to accounting. All my credits would keep me on pace and I could still graduate in 4 years.

I am really confused and I would love to go to pharmacy school. But I do not know if I can take 7 more years of schooling(6 if this year is included). I have work ethic and will, I don't party and I am a good student.

What are my possibilties? I am very broad with Chemistry-Business but I don't want to be at a disadvantage if that is all I have.....

I research on alot of careers or what i may like. I read that if you like chemistry there are things you can do with chemistry. chemical engineering, a teacher that works in chemistery, or some type of lab doctors. if you minor buisness with more chemistry i’m sure that be good i don’t know what job titles there are for chemistry buisness but i’d search up: chemical engineering, teaching, doing labs at doctors/hospitals

Pharmaceutical advertising and marketing seems like a perfect fit for the chemistry-business joint degree…

They are always looking for people with the science background…
