wyvern- Oh god. Dont call me sweetie. I know I can handle it. How dare you say that I'm not mature enough?! I'm in my public high school now and my reason for leaving is because I'm to comfortable and not being challenged enough. Thats immature to you?

I know 1000x more about boarding school than you do, I can tell you that!

The reason I'm having seconds thoughts is completely normal! I'm leaving home 4 years before I should have to!! Even people entering college feel anxious and scared!

Why do youhave to decide tonight (Saturday nonetheless)? When I'm not sure what to do, as long as it is not an emergengy, do nothing! It reminds me of flying through clouds, wait until your visibility is clearer.

LaxCoach's idea is too complicated and, if you don't have those items, too time consuming.

A coin works fine.

Either that or get advice on how to decide by discussing pros and cons with your parents and solicit their insights. Have a family conversation instead of stabbing blindly into cyberspace for wisdom that's readily available to you.

oh i just thought of something important!
if you go to miss porters you'll be missing out on guys..so don't go there =p

Very untrue. Miss Porter's interacts with Avon Old Farms on a regular basis. They do play together, musical performances together, socail activities together and much more. And, ladybug is a swimmer, the AOF guys practice at MPS - so she would be seeing guys 6 days a week during swim team. Girls from MPS are on the AOF campus Friday, Sautrday and Sunday (not overnight). They do community service activities together. They are simply not in classes together, which is the huge benefit of single gender education.

D'yer is right, discuss it with your family together to see which school is best for you - don't let any of us who you don't know - especially other students - tell you what is best for you and your family. It's a family decision.

linda s:
