my parents didn't write the optional letter for me!

"Though don't let the "holistic" deceive you...some students are going to get in heavily on stats."

Exact-a-mundo, as they say in Japan. :) They’re the #1s…As Deb professes, paraphrasing, not all colleges admit the students that in all likelihood won’t matriculate; however, we do b/c if we don’t they definitely won’t attend

Well, guess what showed up in the U.S. mail? A letter from Smith about the parent letter!

LOL, MomfromMe!

Great summary in post #17, MWFN. And a second LOL to MfM.

May both your D's get into Smith and may they have as good an experience as mine. I tell you, I feel like she's hit a six-cherry jackpot. (No, I don't play slot machines and in fact rarely gamble...it was just a metaphor that happened to be lumbering by.)

Hey, TD, my daughter is already at Smith - and loving every minute.

MWFN, you know...I knew that. I plead brain cramps. I've had "stuffed head" due to sinus infection for a couple of weeks.

I don't even need a sinus infection to get brain cramps. It happens all the time. :-)

Heh, I ran upstairs to remind my dad when I saw this board. He hadn't done it either. :P
