I am a second year student at UC Davis. My first year, I did not do so well academically. That is because I partied, smoked, drank, *ed, socialized and didnt give a * about my grades and it showed. First quarter I got a 2.92, second quarter a 2.2, third quarter a 3.4 to give me an overall 3.01.

However, my second year is going to be different. Last year was more of a learning experience for me; I learned what classes I was good and not good at, how to manage my time, and how to become an independent man.

I am going to be taking MCDB, Ochem, Physics, Linear algebra 2, 3 labs and I know what Im going to do to achieve that high GPA. Shortcuts are a no go. Laziness and procrastination can GTFO. Each quarter is a ten week marathon. The first day I am going to start and "run" my hardest until the very end. Practice problems, reading, homework every day, and on the weekends I am going to rage, drink, smoke and ****. I know if I keep to this philosophy, I am going to achieve the highest I will ever can.
