my resume isn't impressive, but will anyone be kind enough to chance me?

i nodded off halfway down the EC list! This has actually been entertaining reading this evening!

wow...just wow.

why would waste you're time. This woudn't be good resume real or fake.

dude i dont think you can get in.

if that's your resume i say you skip college altogether and either a)start you own business and let me know when you go public, b) find a cure for cancer, c) go to community college/non-ivy league school so you can learn how to communicate with people who aren't as smart as you. that is not saying that you don't communicate well but when you're that smart you probably have less than adequate people skills.

If you're on the JV basketball team, there's no need to talk to coaches.

If you want to get recruited for tennis, there's a form you can fill out on the website that asks for your national/international ranking, etc.

This is a joke. He has one of the best resumes ever and says it's not good enough. ***.

Plus, who retakes the SAT after a 2390?

I'm gonna end this thread once and for all:

What do you have to say about these posts, OP?

Only the OP is allowed to respond......

wow ok

with 67 replies, and reading only about 15 of them, im not gonna bother reading everything.

what i have to say, astrophys, is that i'm thankful to those who actually took my question and my resume SERIOUSLY and offered me advice. as for those who think im a 'troll' or a fake or whatever not, i don't really care, because i don't have anything to prove to them. if i get into my top choice, and i bump into one of the people that thought i was fake, then lots of shame on them, but i still wouldn't care

otherwise, liek i said, i don't care. i already had all the advice i needed from the first few posters like pipmom and intldad and others, the rest of you are just replying for no reason, unless you have something good to say

thanks to those who helped out anyway. i think im done with asking advice on this thread, and not because most of you don't believe me, but because i got all that i asked for

I think most people didn't believe you because of the title of the thread. If anything, you can take it as a compliment that people thought it was so ridiculous for someone to say their resume is "not impressive" with those stats :), but it probably would've helped if you had chosen a different name. Honestly, I thought it was a joke at first too (this is my first post in this thread, though), but since you kept coming back and responding I figure it may be true--it's hard to think of someone returning to a false thread so many times, though I suppose it's possible.

Best of luck applying next year!

I dunno about MIT or Caltech, but you are definitely a shoo in at the Community College of Trollville.

Ditto.

You're gonna be rejected at Princeton, definitely.

If this is real, I just want to know why a person who is as skilled as you bothers to ask if you have a chance. In all honestly, if I were as you, I wouldn't care what college I went to. Heck, I wouldn't even care if I went to college since I'm probably smarter then most of the people there. When you can speak 4-5 languages and took 3 APs as a frosh, what's seriously the point of going to college? You can probably test out of like most things there and graduate in a year anyway. Wouldn't it be smarter to just start your own company instead of wasting a year being bored at college? And as for your chances, I think you're a shoo-in for any college, but if you get rejected, it shouldn't matter because you don't need college with your skills.

This has been an entertaining read. Thank you asianvariety, you have made my day.

there is no way that these stats are real. but if hes a troll why is he spending so much time responding..

I want to meet this person in real life and give him a "I HAVE NO LIFE" certificate

Dude, you're so pathetic. Only 21 APs? How many hours of sleep do you get a night, 15? What college would ever accept someone as lazy as you?

I hope your parents don't kill themselves for having produced such a worthless pile of garbage. Try to convince them that they have a lot to live for, although you'll probably fail at that, as you've failed at everything else in your life.

Oh yeah, and how did you only get a 2390 the first time taking the SAT? That's just sad. Did you sleep through the test? Forget your pencils? Or are you really just that dumb?

Also, only JV basketball and tennis? What, you didn't have enough time to practice and make varsity? It's not like you were busy doing anything else.

Final point of criticism: I notice that you failed to cure cancer. This can only be attributed to your complete and utter stupidity. Just give up, man.

I suggest you go to a community college for two years, get your life in order, then try to transfer to the worst public school in your state. You might get in. If not, there's always that job as a gas station attendant (probably the only thing a bum like you is qualified for).

LOL this thread is win.

LOL dude, better luck next time.

I don't know if you meant regional or national finalist, but there are no national young epidemiology finalists from NY 2007-2008. There is one national finalist from NY 2006-2007 but he's not asian. So... it was pretty obvious already that this is a troll thread, but w/e

and no matches for siemens finalists either.

lies lies lies

HAHAH owned, omg.
