^ WHAT?! I beg to differ.

yeah. i guess i don't quite understand the gullible thing.

^haha

And asianvariety, definitely work on your music. One of the other posters said that your quantity of awesome ECs blunts the quality of them, and I'd have to agree. I don't see a person emerging out of them quite yet, and while Princeton would be happy to have someone of your statistical caliber, they also have quotas to meet. You're certainly in luck if they need someone on the viola. They want your stats to be believable so that you'll put your passion(s) to good use at their school--instead of just loading up on an impossible laundry list to get in and then falling apart, the sort of applicant I'm sure they get quite a few of--so focus on that music!

Otherwise, just breathe deeply. You've accomplished quite a lot in your four years, and senior year's not the time to worry about building those stats up any higher. Work instead on gaining some perspective and personality to put into essays, an arts supplement, etc. The more human your statistically blinding app is, the more believable (and better) it will be. And I wouldn't talk to the Princeton sports coaches if you're at the JV level. It just seems kind of bizarre and like you're looking for any way in.

Otherwise, good luck!

Calc BC is Calc I and II. I know this because I took Calc AB and took Calc II this year as a freshman, whereas my friend who took Calc BC took Calc III. You are most definitely a troll.

Oh, and he's the head of the French Honors Society, but never took French.

back to that old thread of a similar person - right about now, he would make no other comments and sort of disappear...you all can draw your own conclusions from that.

....Troll....

asianvariety,

something beats me? why haven't you posted this query to the other threads where you are seeking admission?

asianvariety,

something beats me. why haven't you posted this query to the other threads where you are seeking admission?

Well, if you chose to lie, why did you make it so obvious?

Lets analyze it piece by piece:

You take 21 AP courses in High school + you do over 800 hours of volunteering + you go to Slovakia, Asia, Africa + ur a software developer + you teach Japanese and Korean + ur the leader/captain or more than 10 leagues/societies + you play basketball + you play tennis + you play music + u won math, physics, music competitions + you did research all 4 yrs. of high school.....................Dude, enough!

Just think about it! Not even possible if didn't sleep all 4 years of HS. Even if you worked 24 hours like a damn machine, you wouldn't be perfect at 28 billion activities/sports/clubs/competitions!

Just tooo good to be true.

IF you submit your resume anywhere, HYPS, they'd definitely reject you coz. according to them, u have NO soul!

All I want to tell you is: Good luck for the rest of your life!

Lol...nice :)

You all (especially the OP) have to much time.

my resume isn't impressive

You get a 2400, yet you post this? More proof that the SAT isn't indicative of "real" intelligence.

I'd say you're a troll, but I can't think of any human who would sink so low as to come up with a fake transcript and long list of EC's in hopes of securing a laugh.

Your stats are fine (except for the retake of the 2390 - dude, you need to reevaluate yourself, NOW). Your EC's are full of fluff. There are only 24 hours in the day. You cannot by any stretch dedicate a good amount of time to everything you've listed. Honestly, just quit sports and all the school clubs. You're not to going to get in based on athletics, I assure you. Focus on music and your science stuff and cut the crap EC's. Adcoms WILL reject you if you list a bunch of EC's that mean nothing, 2400 or 600.

ya i actually hope the op sends in that list of ecs and gets rejected. u need to tie your app together and stop the bs. if ur a science person everything should relate to science and its effect on u. if ur a music person have it relate to music and its effect on u. i wouldnt be surprised if the stuff was true though. he probably takes positions in clubs and doesnt do anything. that app is like the perfect example of asian right there.

^
hahahahaha!

I almost agree...

What's Calc IV?

And come on guys, don't be mean.

^^^as far as i know, i have never seen a calculus IV course. OP, at what university did you take the class?
