<p>I had the same problem. My roommate had a furby and it came home late every night…hammered drunk. It kept waking me up and on one occasion stole my credit card and attempted to purchase a Rock’n’Chop over the phone. Luckily it passed out before the last digits of my credit card number could be spoken. It transferred after one semester.</p>

<p>Just tell your roommate straight up “are we really gaining anything keeping this thing on 24/7”? Other then that there’s a million of ways to get it to shut up… microwave, batteries, put dead battery’s in it, open it and cut the speakers in it, leave the window open… Better then letting the thing make you go crazy</p>

<p>those things are terrifying. I can remember one incident where mine turned on in the middle of the night and woke me up…I took out the batteries…</p>
