My Sat scores are bad...Advice?

Don’t stress too much until you retest. During junior year our D took SAT twice and ACT twice, each time earning mediocre scores. She did very little studying in between, but somehow on her third ACT sitting she improved by a full 4 points. She now has a single sitting she’s proud of and will send to all her schools. It’s a luxury to be able to test so often, but it sounds like you are able to do that and you may well see good improvement. Keep your chin up.

I agree with Gadse1996, it all depends on how much you study and how much time you spend practicing. It’s the only way to improve. It is indeed possible to jump 500+ points if you address your weaknesses and truly fine-tune your skills.
