Help!

Ok so I have taken both the ACT and SAT and I HATED the SAT. I have taken the ACT twice and my first sitting I recieved a 21;not bad but not good either. The second time I got a 19 but my English and Math sections went up while Reading and Science went down. I would love to reach my goal of 25 composite by June 9 Or by the september of this year. I just need better strategies and i do not know how to do that. I already own The Real ACT prep guide and I have used the Princeton Review's prep guide also. Could anyone help. I am also very weak in Math. My first sitting I got a 15 and my second I got a 17 in the Math sections. My English sections are pretty I think they just need to go up maybe 2 points.

First sitting:
Composite:21
English:23
Math:15
Reading:23
Science:21

Second sitting:
Composite:19
English:24
Math:17
Reading:21
Science:15

Please help!

I’d recommend that you practice for the SAT, but take the ACT. Although they are two different standardized tests, they teach more or less the same material, and it really helped me move from a 29 to a 32. And anyways, I’d focus on the English and Math sections. Those are the ones that colleges look at nowadays. Good luck.

I have taken the SAT. I despised that test and did so poor i got an 1240. I am NOT taking that again.

You think 1240 is poor? I’d say that’s a pretty darn decent score and certainly good enough to get you into many excellent, reputable schools.

1240 out of 1600 or 2400?
