My School Doesn't RANK; Will that hinder me?

I go to a small school in Houston Texas.

My school doesn't rank which sucks; however, my GPA puts me into a TOP TEN PERCENTILE at other local HighSchools.

What will happen?

GPA: 3.6-3.6.5

I'm applying as early as possible. I have my ESSAYs ready and my Application money ready to send. I have 4 Letters of Rec from UT graduates,PHDs, etc. I will graduate with about 63 college credits and my college GPA is around 3.4-3.5.(Which is much more than the average 3.2 expected from CAPPED students)

Thanks so much!

Or if you enter the name of your HS in the following website, it will tell you which UT admissions counselor is assigned to your HS.

They can answer your quetions better than anyone at CC can.

I don't see why you're worrying...great recs and you're obviously well ahead of the game. Unless you're applying to McCombs or the pre-law school, you're in for sure.

Do you have an associate's degree? You might need to apply as a transfer student.

WHOA, thanks for the replies. I wont have my as.degree until may 2007

i'm a bit confused...so you're out of high school???

you should clarify that if you are...it will make a difference if you're getting your AS at a CC.

I'm Class of 2007 in HS...

I'm in a program that I will be able to obtain an AS..

any more opinions?

call UT admissions and just ask
