My school reports all ap scores on their transcript. Should I still cancel one of my AP scores?

I do not think I did well on my ap physics 1 exam (maybe a 2 or a 1, I just dont feel confident in it at all). I want to cancel my score but my high school’s transcript includes ap and IB exam scores- so I do not have the choice of selecting which scores to send to colleges without it being blatantly obvious on my transcript. Should I still cancel my exam?

I don’t think you should! I think colleges will appreciate that you at least took the class and the exam and overall I don’t think it will affect your admission into getting into a certain school

No! Taking this class will show to colleges that you have taken a hard course and had the courage to take the test too. Also, do not worry about the score, physics is a tough class as is, as long as you tried your best and put in effort, one score will not affect your chances of getting in!

If colleges are going to see your score either way, then why not take a chance to see your score? With the exception of a few colleges that require all scores be sent, you can choose not to send it to college later. AP tests are curved to some extent. The curve varies from year-to-year and test-to-test, so there is no way to guess how it will impact you. But if it makes you feel a little better, you don’t have to get every question correct in order to get a good score.
