wassup, keep representin' the ndn population bro! lol, anywayz u have a great shot at jhu, tufts, bu (more of a saftey 4 u..), cornell, northwestern, carnegie-mellon, georgetown (sorry for the ed btw), i think you have such a broard scope of schools to choose from because you are right where the aforementioned schools want a student to be, as for the tops of the tops..maybe brown, harvard, upenn, columbia, and yale are like 60% chances of getting in because of your rank, and as everyone else said the fact that ur majoring political science is going be a boon for you in the end lol, soo yeah that's my opinionn..

where does you high school stand in terms of rank, it must be extremely competitive for you to have gotten 28th. I think you have a good chance at all the schools you listed, especially with your politics hook. GL and let me know how it turns out!
(BTW, i agree, the gtown rejection seems very odd).

Regardless of how competetive your school is, try and get into the top 5% after this semester is done. I don't know if thats possible lol, and I'm sure you are trying anyways. But seriously, rank is something that will be easily compensated by your test scores. I wouldn't worry about it too much, it comes down to the subjective things.

I'm going into political science and I'm not liberal.

i am curious about this indian politics combo. i didn't think of it as a hook?

bump bump bump

but i certainly have a devotion to politics... any other opinions? i understand that the general opinion is that i should get into most of these schools... and im not trying to be arrogant or anything, but i thought i would get into georgetown. so did almost everyone else on CC. i didn't. why do u think i will get into these schools...maybe it will help me understand?

BSU-match
Brown-match
Georgetown-match
John Hopkins-match
Harvard-somewhat of a reach(I think you have a fair shot)
Yale-same as Harvard

Why do you all think he can't get into Harvard??? He has AMAZING test scores and a good GPA. He also has a good Indian-Politics hook going for him...
