<p>Okay I started the act practice in mid of june, my initial sub scores, from the real tests, were
English 25 math 30 reading 22 science 25
Then they improved after a week into
english 28 math 32 reading 25 science 26
I then started with mcgraw tests and my score somewhat... ugh.. increased a lot.
1st one was
english 29 math 30 reading 30
After 3 more mcgraw tests, I have the following score
English 30 math 34 reading 32
I am still practing science bc they are very low...
I am concerned about the accuracy of my act trend though, I am very bad at reading, I mean my sat cr was in the low 600s.. I doubted the difficulty of mcgraw , but I had lower eng scores or same scores as those of my real tests on it sometimes by 2 points. But the reading was skyrocket improvement from a 22 to 32 in 3 weeks! I did change my method, but I dont know if its really accurate.

<p>Just keep practicing and as long as you learn from each time you will be fine. You never know until you get your actual ACT score back, but some of your discrepancies may be due to the difficulty of the ACT practice test you are taking.</p>
<p>Do you have the Real ACT book (the red book)? The tests in that book are generally considered to be the most reliable, as the book is written by the makers of the exam. <p>While the Mcgraw book might work for basic practice, learning to test under timed conditions, and learning english/math rules, your scores shouldn’t be taken at face value.
With the red book and the above link, you already have 9 practice tests that will give you scores very close to what you’ll get on the actual ACT. I would stick to using those.</p>
<p>Do anyone have more official tests? Thanks @Exclamationpoint for the link. Do u have the act 3rd edition? My dad bought me the 2nd edition, so I dont have the extra 2 tests. What are the titles of the english sections from the extra tests you have? When I type type potter klin act, usually I can find the 09 test. Would u please give me the titles for your extra tests? Thanks! the above link helped me increase from 28 to 31 composite. My science need serious help or it will forever drag into low 30s. Thanks again God bless you</p>
