<p>D submitted her SUNY App last month and received the verification letter stating her app has been sent to her selections. Her top choice is FIT and last week she received a letter from them stating the next step is to file her Online Academic record and her essay using her MyFIT account. She has not as of yet received the letter from FIT with her account and password. The FIT site says it should take 7-10 days but I realize there are probably delays as a result of Hurricane Sandy and the school being closed for a week. Is anyone else experiencing a delay or should we be calling FIT to see what's going on? </p>
<p>D is also strongly considering applying for the Honors Program, she has the GPA and SAT scores for it. Does applying to the Honors Program boost the chances of acceptance? If there are any current Honors students online would you care to offer an opinion of the program, work load, benefits, connections? Thanks</p>
