<p>jumping on the bandwagon, i really don't like people who do that, well only if they do it just because everyone else is doing it... if they like it and other people happen to like it, that's OK...</p>

<p>On a side note, <a href="http://www.albinoblacksheep.com%5B/url%5D">www.albinoblacksheep.com</a> has two very cool soundboard thingys for Napoleon Dynamite. (one for Napoleon and another one for Pedro) Basically, there are these scattered quotes on the soundboard and you click on them and can hear many of the movie's quotes.</p>

<p>I thought it was a horrible movie, I just didn't find it funny (with some exceptions including the "You have Pedro's protection" part).</p>
<p>There were several funny scenes, but I felt that the movie lacked a plot. The whole movie I was waiting to see when something was going to happen. I had heard such great things about it and was thoroughly disappointed.</p>
<p>horrible, pathetic excuse for a movie - I'm really quite surprised at the favorable reception it has received.</p>
<p>The first time I watched it was alone on a mid-saturday afternoon in that mid-saturday afternoon daze. I thought it had moments, but all around, wasn't that great. I rewatched it with a bunch of friends and the movie was much better, it definitely requires a group viewing where you too can provide some of the laughs. There are some quotes which I use every once in a while "it's probably the best I've ever [verb]" and the whole bit with uncle Rico is hilarious. </p>

<p>SGA elections were this week at school (kind of weird timing, but anyway...)</p>
<p>One of the really annoying juniors did his entire speech from Napoleon Dynamite and his campaign slogan was "Vote for ____" instead of "Vote for Pedro." Grrr. I haven't seen it (I never have time to watch movies!) but it still wasn't cool.</p>

<p>Anyow, I loved it. but I agree that you have to watch it with a group of friends. Then it is absolutely hillarious. </p>

<p>What a hilarious movie. Unfortunately everyone quotes it to death now, so its humor has been somewhat tainted, but every so often I fall out of my seat cracking up thinking about a line from the film.</p>
