I got mail from this program saying that I was selected to participate in this congress. Has anyone else received this?

How do they decide who to send this too? Is this even a legitimate thing? I just don’t know how I could have been selected since I don’t participate in anything that would indicate an interest in medicine.

I feel like it’s just trying to get money out of me. I mean, tuition is $985 for 3 days. And the evelope has a “Harvard Square” stamp in Cambridge, MA, although it takes place at Washington Adventist University (Lowell, MA). Kinda sketchy if you ask me.

It’s one of those for-profit business. I’ve received a few for-profit invitations. They often invite you to some sort of event that costs over $1000, although they won’t impact your college applications.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of this one. Don’t they say they’re “affiliated with Harvard”, although they operate half an hour away, at UMass Lowell?
