I was recently chosen as a National Achievement Finalist. I got my notification letter a few weeks ago but I didn't get my finalist certificate from my principal (or my semifinalist one now that I think about it). Has anyone else received their certificates? I know there was a lot of snow around the country but still!

kaykes…Every school handles the certificates differently. Some like to give them to the students immediately, others like to hand them out at year-end award ceremonies (our HS does this), and (unfortunately) some are blissfully unaware of what you have achieved and that a certificate even exists. Your best bet is to ask your school directly (your GC should be able to find out) if the certificate has been received and how/when you can get it. Congrats on your success!!

Our child’s school mailed them home to be sure that the parents got to see them too! I agree with @wolverine86 that your guidance counselor is the best point of contact to get your certificate. You earned it!
