According to the Grinnell website (Scholarships - Financial Aid | Grinnell College), the school gives $2000 per year to National Merit Finalists. Is that included in our financial aid package, or is it in addition to that money because it hasn't been officially awarded yet? All I see on my financial aid package is the tuition remission I get from having a parent who works at a GLCA school.

It’s not included in the financial aid package yet. You’ll get the additional 2k when you report Grinnell as your first choice school to the NMSQT people.

That’s what I thought, and I already have Grinnell named as my first choice, so that should be all set. Thanks!

I am pretty sure that jordanbaker is correct. Congrats on getting in!
