<p>can someone tell me what this is. i just received an invitation in the email today. i do not know if it is bogus, but i have the feeling that it is because it is asking me 75 dollars to join.</p>

<p>There is an old thread in the parents forum about it if you want to search. I think the general consensus was that its not bogus but its not useful. It's like Who's Who of American HSers</p>

<p>As can "Invitee to National Society of Collegiate Scholars Honor Society" it has the same "prestige" without the $75 commitment.</p>
