Our school does list which students applied ED so that must also differ by school.
It gets very frustrating when there are emails from his GC and he doesn’t open them for days on end.
“doesn’t show whether a student was accepted ED, EA, or RD”
My kids’ school differentiated and I think it is important to do so. If your school doesn’t, I’d definitely suggest giving them feedback.
If you have good GCs, they can answer some questions. For us, there were a few LACs that only had a handful of kids applying and I had our GC look up if the kids were athletes or legacies. She was willing to share that info. Also, one of the schools on S19’s list showed four kids applied and none got in last year. The charts show all kinds of dots and checks and don’t differentiate year so I called to see what happened last year. She looked it up and all four of those kids started their app but never finished it. So, starting an app and not sending it still showed up on Naviance for us! (Those kids’ info was not on the chart. Just on the part where it says how many kids applied and how many were admitted.) That was good know. Zero applied, zero admitted is way different than four applied, zero admitted.
Thanks for the reviews. We just started Naviance and the added layer of busywork has not yet proven worth it. What takes one click on the C.A. takes 5 on Naviance. Will there be data gathered? That’s the hope.
