Which of the 3 previously mentioned sports video games is most popular at some of the top universities/LAC's? Because I like those equally, but I figure that I should play whichever one is the most popular/common.

Personally I think it would be Madden, NBA then FIFA. If you are an international student or will be going to an international student-dominated school then I would recommend Pro Evolution Soccer compared to FIFA.

Nope, I am fully American. :)

Thanks for your comment.

Nhl .

FIFA games actually get a lot of love in my experience… Everyone loves playing soccer on Xbox. Usually for sports games it’s NCAA/Madden first, then random games after that. Halo and CoD for shooters.

NCAA Football 10> everything else (for sports)

PES > FIFA

(though I assume more in this country play the latter)

I’d say Madden is the most popular, followed closely by NBA 2K, and there is a lot of support for NHL and Fifa as well.

Interesting … I’ll probably brush up on my Madden skills then. :D

Madden is eaisly the most popular, but FIFA is the best there. You can also find some pretty high-ish stakes FIFA games at a lot of colleges.

^ I’m not sure where your from but I NEVER heard of any FIFA game being played for money, especially if its “pretty high-ish stakes”.

^I would never play for money, it’s just nonsense for a video game.

^ Well some people like myself do play for money or other things since it makes it competitive instead of just having bragging rights. I consider myself above average in Madden 10 and MW2 like my other friends so we wager different stuff.

FIFA 99 is the absolute classic! There’s no other FIFA in which you dive and Paolo Maldini gets red card as a result :D

ten, NHL ten.

I used to love FIFA 99. I think the series has gone downhill since then, lol. At least the actual gameplay.
