We heard that they had more applicants deposit than they had space for, so no one is being accepted off waitlist. Have not heard of anyone getting off the list. Tough year for sure. Wishing everyone the best in the college that already showed them love!

No surprise here as the stated admission policies value lots of circumstances including legacy, rural, D&I, etc. over academic achievement; individual college rankings and graduation % rates will fall greatly over the next few years.
I don’t think having a holistic admissions process equals lower academic achievement among those accepted. Because the school values diversity doesn’t mean the rankings and graduation rates will fall greatly.
agreed; a holistic approach is correct process; however, when an institution of higher learning prioritizes a half dozen situational attributes over academic performance, they are not admitting the most qualified candidates
I’m thinking a lot of colleges are using this approach.
Received yesterday an email from NC State asking if I want to keep receiving emails from them, in case I want to apply for a transfer next year. I guess you all got that too?
