NCAA Eligibility International Transfer

Hey ppl,

so Im an intl student who is looking to transfer to a us university and play sports. I have done the basic NCAA stuff and also paid the fee. BUT. First of all, they want me to send my high school transcript. Should I just put my grades in an envelope and ask my hs to send it, or is there another process that has to be made? Second, dont they want my college transcript as well?

I have not participated in any athletics at my current college so I know that I wont need to sit out a year or something like that.

Thanks in advance yall

They usually want Official transcripts–from the school, in a sealed and stamped envelope, to assure that they weren’t tampered with.

If you are applying as a transfer all schools ask for your college transcripts. What college are you applying to?

Thanks! Yea I’m aware of that the schools will ask for college transcripts, but as I understand it NCAA don’t? I’m not sure yet, i do have a list of possible schools but it’s quite long atm…

Sorry, thought you were talking about the colleges, not the NCAA, I have not idea what they require. You might try posting on the Recruited Athletes forum (under College Admissions, Specialty Topics), someone there might know.

Np, did post there and got help! Thanks entomom!
